Luck, luck, skill, and luck. Take away either Warner's 100-yd TD pass at the end of the first half, or Francisco clumsily slipping on that long Holmes pass, and the Cards are champs. Not that the Steelers didn't play a decent game, but they got too much help.
LOL :) How about skill, skill, luck and skill? That interception wasn't just about Warner making a mistake, it was about Dick LeBeau calling a brilliant defensive play where Harrison faked rush and dropped back into coverage.
...and received the best gift he's ever been given in the form of a Warner pass right in his lap. What's more sad is all the Cardinals who couldn't at least trip up a gassed 400-lb lineman rumbling toward the end zone at about a half-mile an hour. That goes down as one of the single most pathetic 11-man performances by any football team in history.
In honesty, they both played great, but the Cards matched their good plays with enough bad ones to cost themselves the game. I've never thought Roethlisberger was all that, but I have to admit the guy just plain wins games.

Nah, I'm not bitter...

Jesse,
It was a great game. I thought the Cards put up a good fight and was sure after the Larry Fitz touchdown that my Steelers were done for.
